This class is held at the KMC Maryland Annapolis branch in West Annapolis. The space is the first dedicated Kadampa meditation space in Annapolis and is a very friendly and warm environment. It is handicap accessible and has plenty of parking. Inside there is a bookstore, a lovely Buddha statue, and always tea or other refreshments.

Gen Kelsang Chogden is an American Buddhist nun and the Resident Teacher at the Kadampa Meditation Center Maryland. Her compassionate activities of teaching, guiding, and inspiring those around her are the result of her deep faith, clear wisdom, and heartfelt concern for others. Chogden has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for approximately 15 years under Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso’s guidance and brings true sincerity and humility to her life as a spiritual teacher.
