Teachers and Spiritual Directors

Vikatadamshtri Center is under the Spiritual Guidance of the elected General Spiritual Director of the New Kadampa Tradition (NKT), Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche. Geshe Kelsang is the founder of Vikatadamshtri Center and the New Kadampa Tradition, the International Kadampa Buddhist Union. Through Geshe Kelsang's kindness we have the incredible good fortune to also follow our US National Spiritual Director, Gen-la Kelsang Dekyong.

In October 2007, Geshe Kelsang appointed Kelsang Chogden as Resident Teacher of the Center. Current teachers include Kelsang Gyaltsen, Kelsang Drime, Kelsang Osel, Kelsang Rabzang, Kelsang Dachog, Liz Tarr, Martin Evans, Jim Mooney, and Don Avery.
